Dr. Heather L. Savage, DSW, MSW, LSW, is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Let Them Talk, Inc, a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe spaces where youth, families, and communities connect, grow, and thrive. With more than a decade of experience in child welfare, behavioral health, nonprofit leadership, and youth development, she has worked alongside hundreds of young people and families across Indiana. Dr. Savage is also a licensed therapist, consultant, and educator specializing in authentic youth engagement, mental wellness, family partnerships, and culturally responsive practices. Her research and community-based work focus on empowering Black youth through relationship-centered approaches that foster belonging, resilience, and opportunity. She is passionate about equipping professionals with practical strategies to build trusting relationships and create environments where every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.
