Jim Hanna is a Lead Education Support Coordinator for Brightlane Learning, currently serving IPS high schools. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jim attended Lawrence Township schools. After majoring in literature and religious studies at Texas Christian University, Jim returned home and pursued an MA in English literature followed by an MFA in creative writing. Because that seemed like plenty of master’s degrees, Jim tried flipping the script and taught high school English before finally finding his way to Brightlane. Jim still lives in Indy with his wife, Sally, and they play in pit orchestras as often as they can.
