What if career exploration started in third grade? VicTory 4 Kidz is creating a zeal for healthcare careers by introducing students in grades 3–12 to the possibilities of the healthcare workforce through engaging, hands-on experiences. In this interactive session, OST professionals will discover how VicTory 4 Kidz uses its third-grade after-school program to spark curiosity early and help students fall in love with exploring healthcare careers. Participants will experience practical tools such as healthcare career discovery stations, career cards, medical missions, role-play, simulations, and career exploration activities that can be adapted for different ages and OST settings. Presenters will also share lessons learned, strategies for engaging healthcare professionals and community partners, and ideas for building a career exploration pathway from exposure to experience. Participants will leave with practical strategies they can take back and use in their own programs.
