Xuwei (Sara) Luo is a doctoral student of Curriculum Studies in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Purdue University. She is a Ross-Lynn Research Scholar and Holmes Scholar and serves as Project Director for the Purdue CDF Freedom School. Her research agenda centers on culturally relevant pedagogy, mentoring, teacher education, and social justice in education. Sara is committed to preparing teachers and students to address educational inequities through equity-centered, community-based research.
