Morgan Carpenter, GPC (she/her), is a nationally certified grant professional, consultant, and author who helps human services organizations secure funding and build long-term sustainability. She is the founder of Carpenter Nonprofit Consulting, where she partners with mission-driven nonprofits to build capacity, develop strategy, and amplify their impact. Based in Bloomington, Indiana, Morgan is one of only 20 professionals in the state to hold the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential—a nationally recognized mark of excellence and ethical practice in the grants field. Her book, ‘Prepare for Impact: Everything You Need to Know to Win Grants and Supercharge Your Nonprofit,’ offers actionable guidance on grant readiness, storytelling, program design, proposal development, and long-term funder relationships. A Grant Professionals Association-Approved Trainer, Morgan has led trainings at local, regional, and national conferences, blending concrete tools with thoughtful reflection to make complex topics engaging and accessible.
