With a BS in Marketing and MS.Ed. in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, and over 15 years of dedicated service in education, Rebecca brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and deep pedagogical expertise to her work. Her journey in education has been multifaceted, having served as a mentor teacher, coach, and specialist in social-emotional learning within Indianapolis schools. Throughout her career, Rebecca has been deeply committed to fostering holistic growth and development in students and educators, recognizing the critical importance of not only academic achievement but also emotional well-being. This commitment led her to her current role as the Director of Social Emotional Learning at the Peace Learning Center, where she feels fortunate to lead initiatives that promote empathy, resilience, and positive relationships among students, educators, and organizations. Rebecca is a native New Yorker and currently resides on the northside of Indianapolis.
