This interactive session introduces OST professionals to the “Marathon Mindset,” reframing running routines as tools for resilience, self-awareness, and teamwork. Whether it’s short after-school jogs, wellness challenges, or preparing for a community 5K, participants will discover practical ways to pair physical activity with reflection and goal-setting. Drawing on marathon training insights and expertise in emotional intelligence education, this workshop provides ready-to-use resources, including training calendars, EQ-focused reflection prompts, and race event templates. Attendees will leave inspired and equipped to create after-school experiences that build confidence, strengthen relationships, and celebrate achievement.
